London Road, High Wycombe

This out of town retail unit was built on a very prominent route into High Wycombe, and was subsequently under close scrutiny of the planners. A simple tin shed was out of the question from a planning perspective, but so was a high cost landmark building (demanded by the planners) from the build cost perspective. The solution was a simple building with robust economical detailing that allowed both planner and client to achieve their goals.

The construction budget was £1.4M, including enabling highways works.
